About the Author

After a long career as a print and television journalist, Patrick Lindsay is now a best-selling author and public speaker. THE ESSENCE OF KOKODA, BACK FROM THE DEAD, THE SPIRIT OF THE DIGGER, THE SPIRIT OF KOKODA and COSGROVE: Portrait of a Leader were all best-sellers. Prior to writing fulltime, Patrick had leading roles on the Nine Network's Today, Sunday, Wide World of Sports, Sports Sunday, A Current Affair Summer Edition, and Seven's Today Tonight. Patrick lives in Sydney with his wife, Lisa Cotton. He has three adult children, Nathan, Kate and Sarah.
