If you liked the first Odd Thomas graphic novel then you will not be disappointed. These books represent an impressive collaboration between Fred Van Lente, Dean Koontz and Queenie Chan.

As a fan of the novels it was interesting to see Odd Thomas in a differant format. Queenie Chan's artwork is exceptional and the art-style in this book is great. Whilst not a long story, it was definately entertaining.

I can't help but feel that these graphic novels are a watered down version of the Odd Thomas stories. Koontz has made these books alot more accessible to a younger audience at the risk of losing some of his older fans. Just because you add pictures to a story doesn't mean you have to make it for children. You can look at the majority of Japanese anime to see this is true.

I would recommend this for any fan of the Odd Thomas series and for young adults in general with a love of the supernatural. Although Koontz seems to be targeting a younger audience with these titles he is still an exceptional story teller.
