This was an extremely pretty and useful book. Simple enough for my children to use but also advanced enough to meet my need to create beautiful artwork.
This book shows one how to try many useful techniques step by step which allows you to understand how the beautiful illustrations in this book are done.
It helps to build confidence in using watercolour, pen and ink. There are a wide variety of illustrations - animals, birds, flowers, plants, glass, metal, old buildings, sea scapes, rocks - 220 pages!
One of the most useful books on the subject and certainly worth buying. I came across it in art class, liked it and then borrowed it from the library. In the end I just found it so useful and inspiring that I just had to purchase a copy so that I could have on hand whenever I need it.
This book is excellent, with easy to understand intructions and techniques. some members from my art group have seen it and want to purchase it as it is easy for the novice artist to comprehend.
