One of the best pattern books I have come across in recent years. I'm so glad that I took the chance and bought it. Information within the text is informative and walks you through each pattern example in the book. Originally a Japanese text, I cannot fault the translation grammatically, instructions are clear, but the text example patterns are designed for small Japanese figures (up to 89cm bust); however the patterns can be adapted to larger sizes with a little knowledge and application of adjustment techniques. I'm looking forward to purchasing the other books in the series
