Edward E. Gordon has conducted tutoring research and practice for over 30 years. While teaching in Early Childhood Education at DePaul University, Chicago, Dr. Gordon developed a field-based mastery-learning, diagnostic-development tutoring program used with over 10,000 children. Later while teaching in Adult Education/Workplace Literacy at Loyola University, Chicago, he expanded the tutoring model for use by 20,000 adults.
