About the Author
Peggy Porschen moved to London from her native Germany in 1998 to study French patisserie at the Cordon Bleu school. She later worked at London's Lanesborough Hotel and was a cake decorator at Konditor & Cook. Quickly developing her own highly individual style, she soon set up her own business, which was instantly successful, making cakes and cookies for clients like Elton John, Stella McCartney and Madonna. Most recently, she supplied Anthony Hopkins' 70th birthday cake and fondant fancies for Damien Hirst's auction of his work at Sothebys. She also recently began collaborating on a couture cake range with Jenny Packham, wedding and party dress designer to the stars, and has for some time been supplying Fortnum & Mason with seasonal ranges of decorated cookies and cakes, and last summer launched her fi rst wedding cake collection at Fortnums. Wow the little cakes and cookies in this little recipe book are beautiful! If you think the little cupcakes on the cover are intricately decorated just wait till you open up and see all the different designs inside! each recipe is deliciously made and recipes are easy to follow. A great little cook book for cake and cookie lovers everywhere.
