Tim McLelland is an established aviation writer and photographer
with an interest in all aspects of aerospace, specialising
primarily in postwar military subjects. He has authored a great
many books, written numerous features for the aviation press and
also been editor of Air Forces International and Scale Models
magazines, in addition to the house magazine of the International
Plastic Modellers Society (IPMS - UK).
As part of his photographic and writing assignments, Tim has been
afforded direct access to military units around the world and has
flown as a passenger in a wide range of combat aircraft, including
- among many others - the Jaguar, Lightning, Harrier, Tornado and
all four key versions of the Phantom.
