I am really thrilled with this purchase- as Ihave been on a weight loss programme involving low carbs, high protien and frequent meals, I had become bored with the food I was eating. This book was recommended to me by a friend and tho I waited a while for it to be sourced I am more than happy with it. It's full of great information, easy to prepare and cook recipes, lots of fabulous photo's of many of the meals, as well as a section on deserts. It tells you how many carbs per serving you are consuming of each recipe and at the end of the book there is vitamins and minerals info. plus a huge list of carbohydrate counts for drinks,biscuits, bread,cakes, cereals, chocolate,fruit etc.etc., which is incredibly handy. I am no cook-my family and friends can vouch for that but I was so enthused with this book I have been cooking up a storm, (I used to avoid cooking at all costs).I have recommended it to lots of people who have or are in the process of sourcing it. Fabulous book.
I found this book brilliant if your thinking of eating more protein than carbs which I totally agree with. It keeps you satisified for a much longer time, don't be afraid to try it.
