This is a great book. I know that like me, many of you have been growing a little tired of the ‘Game’ series’. I loved the first two books, but after that they just seemed to lose some of their spark. I admired the huge amount of research Feehan did, and her plots were very intricate, but the series just didn’t have the strength of her Carpathian novels. Well she has changed my mind with ‘Predatory Game’. The plot is taut, with very little of the looseness or over-writing of some of her earlier ‘Game’ books, and the characters are a delight. You’ll love Saber, one of the child orphans genius-turned-monster Peter Whitney took to genetically enhance psychically and physically. Saber is on the run from Whitney, and ends up with Ghostwalker Jess Calhoun, who had been tortured and almost crippled. Saber is running from her past and the men pursuing her. Jess is fighting for his future and trying to find the people betraying him and the Ghostwalkers. Together they’re an indomitable team, although Saber’s afraid that when Jess finds out what her special power is, he’ll back away from her just like everyone else. She doesn’t know Jess. But she will, and very intimately, even as their worlds collide and start to shatter. Feehan’s style in this book is much clearer than some of the others. The love scenes are sensuous, the climactic scenes [no, not the love scenes, although that sure applies as well] are stunning, and the overall impact of the book is ‘Wow’. You don’t have to read the series in sequence, but you should read the first novel, ‘Shadow Game’, just to understand the background.

Christine Feehan does it again with another wonderful installment of the GhostWalker series. She has the knack of making these ultimate soldiers accesible and very likable. This story is appealing because one of the perfect Ghostwalkers was shown with a disability that he had to overcome. I found Jess Calhoun and Saber Wynter as interesting as the Norton Twins and their twin heroines. I can not wait for the next installment.

I love the way Chrsitine Feehan writes, I love the intricate plots that all her characters have around them and how there is never just the one story going on at one time. Its great when you can pick up another one of her books in the series and see where it intertwines with the others.
I dont see where anyone could pick up the book and not just fall right into the plot with predatory game and just get immersed in it for hours. (Even my husband managed to do that and he's really fussy on his reading)
I'm waitin for my next paycheck to get some more Feehan :)

I am a big fan of Feehan and purchased this book before I discoverd the story line, this book certainly met all of the Feehan criteria and delivered in most areas.
My favourite Ghost Walker book is 'Consipiracy Game' in comparison this book did not meet my expectations, the characters of Jessie and Saber did not quite jel, the character of Jessie was certainly an interesting support character in a previous walker book but did not equate to a character in his own right.
As with most Feehan stories the book can be over before it has began and this book did not challenge at any point and the plot meandered to a predictable end, worth a read but not a keeper.
