Spot on, if you have an intense child, this is a must read, by an author who has been there done that! A good book to sit down and read on the bad days, if only to let you know that you are not alone!
This is an excellent book. It helps the reader to "work out' the people around them (and work out themselves!). It covers areas like introvert vs extrovert, adaptability, persistence, and a host of other human qualities and outlines the positives and negatives of each stance. I have been giving it to people for more than 10 years and they all thank me for it! It saves a lot of stress!!!
The single most useful book I have come across in my nine years as a parent. Has helped me understand my spirited 3 year old, and also my own spirited temperament. Also has excellent useful strategies for parenting in general. Well worth considering the accompanying Workbook.
