The word Rajavaliya literally means line of kings. This singlese chronicles professes to contain a historical narrative of events which occurred during the successive reigns of kings who ruled Ceylon until the end of the 17th century. There is no internal evidence to fix the date or authorship of this work. The narrative starts with king Vijaya to king Vijayadharma Surya II. This book is a reprint of the 1900 edition.
