This book is such a great resource. A how-to guide for all aspects of self sufficiency. Excellent recipes, info on animal breeds, veg varieties, crop rotation, housing and heationg options. It is written in an easy to read, conversational style. Worth every cent!

The title says it all - this is the complete guide! I read another book where the author referred to John Seymour as 'dear John' and used his book as a constant reference whenever something went wrong. This is definitely the book to have for those times! It is the ultimate guide for those actually doing it and those who need some inspiration to keep the dream alive. It is lovely to look through and plan just how your property will be. It is a British book, but just reverse the seasonal/weather information and it is fine.
Definitely worth every cent!
