– Customer review on 04/11/2008 Like her Stephanie Plum novels Janet Evanovich's 'How I Write' is an easy read that is packed with the author's trademark humour. She makes it clear from the onset that this book isn't for the purposes of teaching the reason how to write a novel, but breaks down the method in which she uses to write her novels as well as giving background details on how she started and developed her various bestselling series.
Even though this isn't a How To book it provides amateur novelists the encouragement to give writing their own book a go, outlining what it takes to gets words down onto paper and the process of becoming published. Recommended for anyone that is a fan of the author, who wants to know just how she comes up with her larger than life characters and what a writer's life is generally like.
