A great book, the first in a series of great books. Start with this one and work your way through the rest. It makes you think and re-evaluate your choices. A great gift to give to others as well. Sometimes you meet people in your life that have a lot to teach you. This book takes that premise and expands it.

I first read this book seven years ago and it did create a movement in my being and the beings of the others who read it in my home around the same time. I guess then, it would be true to say it changed my life. It moved me to my truth, my centre. It speaks the old soul values that sit well with me.
I bought this copy to use along with the film in a class I teach. It affected all of my students in different ways.
I love this book.

This was a strange but intriguing book about the people we meet who help change our lives (spiritual guides I would say). In this case it was an unusual man who called himself Socrates who would hardly answer any questions but sparked the author's curiousity and led him on a voyage of discovery about himself. I would recommend it to people just because it's not your usual sort of book. Very different.
