The Richest Man in Babylon -What a great book! This one has lessons for all of us and most of us should have read it whilst still in our teen years. There are lots of lessons for us that are clearly and simply presented. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.I particularly liked the simplified savings plan.

This book is fantastic. I have purchased copies for my grown up children and will be purchasing more to give out as gifts to my work team for christmas. This book should be taught in teh first years of high school.

I read lots of finacial and self help books but only come to this book recently. Especially with the economic climate we are in, the rules put forward by this book are just timeless and lessonful. If we all listen and plays patiently with our money like what the book preaches, we should be richer by the day in everyday we live. A wonderful book to start for anyone interested in their own finance.

Very good classic, that actually gets you thinking in quite a different way from what you would expect with a money strategy book. Needs to be read between the lines I think.

This is one book that I am glad to read early on in my life (I'm 21) As it has fantastic tips on finance, that may be considered ancient, but will last an eternity, it is so good. This book has examples of how to apply the tips or laws of money, which ensures that the book is not boring, but interesting to read. Overall this book is a great read and will ensure that your financial life is strong. It defiently has helped me.

This is a wonderful book composed of several short stories, set in an 'Arabian Nights' type setting, that teaches sound principles of personal financial management. Characters in the stories work their way out of debt, learn about sound investment strategies, learn about basic savings principles, the need for insurance, and so on. By no means an in-depth education regarding personal finance, but a highly-recommended and inspiring book to get you started.

The Richest Man in Babylon is easy to read, easy to understand and inspiring. Many of the tales are about paupers saving copper pennies and the like and building their wealth piece by piece to create fortunes. The comparison makes saving in this day and age seem like a walk in the park and will certainly put into perspective the simplicity of saving and creating wealth. It is also refreshing to read a “how to make money” strategy outlined in ancient Babylon. Great Stuff.

I really loved this book. It's simple, but effective. The messages portrayed are so easy to understand and can be taught to young and old alike. The lessons are delivered in such an old story line that you can't help but think back to basics and understand how easy it is to save even a little bit of money and look after it in your future. It is not a book of point form rules to live by, it is a story that has many lessons in each chapter. I even recommend this for teenagers who are keen to understand the financial world of independence.
