Reviews

The author does the famous River Cottage Cookbook again, this time in chronological order, writing about life, and food, on his Dorset farm as the months and seasons go by. That previous book was a huge success, selling more than 100,000 copies and winning all the major cookbook awards last year. Like its predecessor, the new book is filled with original seasonal recipes (100 in all) and ties in with a new series on Channel 4. The author has a huge following, on TV and in print, and cookery buyers can place orders confident in the knowledge that their subscriptions will soon be depleted. Customers who bought the first book will want to buy this, and the author's rising profile on TV suggests that his readership can only grow.
