About the Author

Beautifully illustrated compact picture book. The pictures are truly timeless and would be great sized up on kids' walls. More a learn to read book or a quick read than a bedtime story as there's a only a short line of text per page.

A delightful and simple adventure of a hen who takes a walk throught the farmyard and manages to 'escape' the attempts of the fox to capture her. Written with just a few words, the story is told mainly through the pictures. While the reader reads about Rosie taking a walk through the farmyard...it is the humourous misadventures of the fox as he tries to catch Rosie, who is unaware of his presence, which is demonstrated through illustration alone. Simple reading text for the beginner reader with further story to be discussed behind the illustration.
