gave this as a present to a 21 year old male who has not read a book for pleasure since being at school and he loved it and could not put it down. If you are into the out doors, army stuff, hunting or just lotts of interesting facts about living out doors this is the book for you and you will find it very hard to put down.

Great book. Covers any survival situation one may find themselves in, as well as giving much advice on how to effectively prepare yourself should such a situation occur. Also the many diagrams and pictures allow the reader to gain a greater understanding of the techniques discussed and effectively cement them in the memory of the audience.

I would recommend that every family should study this book, so as to know what to do if ever there was a natural disaster or other accident that left you in a position where you would have to fend for yourself. As a typical housewife I would have said my survival chances in these situations would have been slim, after studying this book however I have a lot more confidence that I would be ok - also good to get your kids to learn some survival skills - you never know when you are going to need them. Highly recommended.
