Don Boone is a grandfather who may suffer from the 'Empty nest' Syndrom. His own grandchildren are grown, and most are now gone from home. Yet, acting as a chess coach for schools in his area, has given him many youngsters to fill that void. He's found that his middle of the road chess game rating is more than sufficient to pass the knowledge of the game onto the younger set of upcoming community leaders. He encourages others to join him in this worthwhile enterprise, and this book was written to help those who question their own abilities to make the trip to a school of their choice
