The Secret Seven Series were a childhood favourite of mine. Enid Blyton has an amazing ability to capture the naivety and innocence of children whilst also showing their adventerous and mischievous nature. The short story collection provides a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted (or re-acquainted) with these great characters. Highly recommended for all those young or young at heart

The beginning of the secret seven saga, tells you how they all got together where their first meeting place was, what their first mystery was, a must have for all SS fans. I like the first one because it tells you how it all began. For ages 7 and over. The mystery never stops.
