Lovely projects but most of the instructions make very little sense and are impractical. The ready to make bag project is lovely but certainly not easy, particularly the rouleau strip. I wouldn't recommend this book for beginners as there are far easier books out there to learn from (eg Emma Hardy's books). Beautifully illustrated and photographed and as a fan of Cath Kidstons beautiful fabrics, I'm happy to own this book purely for inspiration.

I bought this book as a gift for my neice for Christmas. Unfortuneatly I have not recieved it.
I already own one. I bought it while I was in England earlier this year and I love it. I make lots of craft things from this book, it's marvelous.

Incorrect cover photo and does not contain dog pattern - do a google image search on the EAN number to find the correct photo.
Not what we were after, but a beautifully presented book nonetheless.
Very much a begginers book, simple patterns, not challenging for experienced people.

Gorgeous book full of beautiful fabrics and lovely photos. Good book to just pick up and flick through for inspiration. So much better that Make! which I found a bit dissapointing.

Lovely book. I'm a hopeless beginner when it comes to sewing but found the instructions very clear and have made a fantastic bag with the fabric supplied. Recommended, especially as a gift for sewing virgins.

Cath Kidston has done it again. A beautifully presented book full of patterns and ideas to sew.Easy to follow instructions and clear photography help too. The addition of the handbag kit makes the book even sweeter! I now have Make! and Sew! a wonderful present idea too.
