This book is AMAZING, it contains everything you 'ever-wondered/needed to know' about songwriting. I find the layout really easy to follow and understand and the 'shortcuts' (pretty much techniques) are just outstanding. I loved how the book talks about using the rhythm and pitch of normal speech to write phrasings, melodies and lyric.
