A very easy to read book. Siblings without rivalry is thankfully a child centered book written by experienced writers and parents. The straighfoward way that it presents the sibling relationship provided a shift in the way i view the way my children interact. The book contains some great and straightfoward ideas to create smooth relationships.

I have 3 sons very close in age and at times it is as if they compete over how many breaths each takes in a day. This book gave me some great strategies - which worked- when remembered to be put in place. I would highly recommend this book to anyone with more than one child. Easy to read and even cartoons that highlight the chapter for your husband to look at. Excellent.

This book had pretty basic concepts concepts and nothing that most people probably dont already practice at home. I guess it served more as a reminder than a useful and knowledgeable tool. It was easy to read and understand but also pretty painful- There is only one thing worse than being forced to do role playing scenarios in a seminar and that is to read about others role playing, it made me cringe several times. I wouldn't rush out to buy the other book, how to talk so children will listen and listen so children can talk by the same authors.

This book is fantastic! Written in everyday language and with real life situations as examples. Great for any parent who wants to enrich and improve their children's relationships with each other. Comforting to read and know that sibling rivalry is part of life in a family, and that there are solutions to most issues. Whether you are seeking to tweek just a few things to make life's journey with your children smoother, or looking for answers to bigger problems, I would recommend this book as a very helpful resource.
