I expected so much from this book by what the description reads, however, because there is no age recommendation above, i wasn't sure if it would suit a 5yr old and i was right. This is for a much older fan of The Smurfs, perhaps, ages 10+ as there is quite a lot of reading without many pictures (only in the centre) However, it is a nice book and i would recommend it for an older child who loves The Smurfs.
