The life story of a war soldier, detailing his mates, the battles, and the horrific scenes is always a fascinating read. I picked this book up, and from page one could not put it down. The detail of the book was amazing, especially graphic. Lynch went into extreme detail, not just little bits. It was a great read, and a fantastic war archive story.
