This is the most useless and heavy Lonely Planet I have ever owned. It contains very little information - absolutely nothing not right on the gringo party trail. If you want to go ANYWHERE other than where all of the gringos are do not get this book! It is not pack-friendly (I ended up abandoning mine partly because the thing weighed almost as much as my hiking boots!), and most of the information is inaccurate. I saw so many abandoned copies of this book while I was traveling around! Much, much better to buy the individual country guides on the go, and then you can swap them with other travelers coming from the countries you want to go to. The individual guides are much more detailed and will help you to explore so much more.
