Less certainly isn't more when it comes to festive decorations - and these beautiful beaded baubles will add a good dash of glamour to any tree. Even if you're new to beading, the opening chapters describe all of the techniques that you'll need and the 18 projects have a star grading: 1 star is the easiest and 4-star projects are built up in several stages, but even the 3-star is described as 'getting more complex, but manageable for a beginner with patience'. They are great fun - and very satisfying - to make, and the results are simply gorgeous. With very clear instructions and diagrams, the beading is surprisingly straightforward. The 'extra info' panels include some useful tips and there are also ideas for adapting some designs to fit larger baubles, and suggestions for using the pieces in different ways. Don't worry if you don't want to be outshone by the decorations as there are also four designs for festive earrings, including tiny trees and a Santa design that's guaranteed to make you smile.-Stitch
