This book Clone Wars is an excellent teaching resource. They have clear font, lots of repetition and great pictures which provide reliable reading cues. They are based on the use of sight words and use the base of the stories well enough to be interesting to young children. The books are easy enough to use with toddlers but not too basic to be boring for 5-6 year olds.
