Still confused about who and what she is, she gets hot and heavy with Balthazar but returns to Lucas in the end. Part Romeo and Juliet, part paranormal romance, part high school drama, this series will definitely continue as the author is keeping some secrets from readers. Perfect for those who liked the twilight series, Stargazer (and the book before it; "Evernight") is a romantic love story of two unlikely teenagers who fight to be together amid the disapproval of those around them, with a supernatural element. Beautifully written, I can not wait for the release of the third and fourth books of the series.

A great sequel to Evernight. The book is set over a year starting with Bianca heading back to Evernight with a little less fear. She is now rooming with her human friend Raquel & becoming closer to Balthazer. But Bianca as been sneaking out to catch up with Lucas the Black Cross hunter. But during a secret meeting Bianca runs into Balthazer's long lost sister which entails Bianca striking up a deal with Balthazer keeping her relationship a secret while helping him track down his sister Charity. However Charity has a secret or two of her her own that put Bianca, Lucas & Balthazer in danger. With the Black Cross & Charity causing Bianca trouble the last thing she needs is a new danger hunting her. But this new danger helps Bianca understand more about who she really is & about Raquel & her family life. I loved the scenes with Bianca & Balthazer & wished thru the whole book they would just get together & she'd forget about Lucas. Throughly enjoying this series so far cannot wait for book 3 & 4.

What a brilliant read. I just finished this one today and loved it even more than the first book, Evernight. In this one Bianca, the vampire, and Lucas, the vampire hunter, continue thier romance secretly. Only Balthazer knows about their hidden romance and helps Bianca sneak out to see Lucas. Meanwhile, Lucas and the Black Cross are hunting another group of vampires that include Balthazer's sister. He tries to help his sister but doesn't realise that she may not want his help. Also back at the Academy, their are ghosts that are haunting the academy but who are they really after and why? Definately a must read if you enjoy a great vampire story. AAA+++
