Popular among both adults and children, 'The Story of the Little Mole' follows the quest of a mole as he tries to find out who "did their business" on his head. "Quite simply the funniest book you are ever likely to read (as long as you are not easily offended that is!). Perfect for children of course, but if you are stuck for gift ideas for the adults in your life you may need to look no further." - Susan Harrison, amazon.co.uk

About the Author

Werner Holzwarth and Wolf Erlbruch are a German Author/Illustrator team. Both are highly regarded, particularly in Germany, for their humourous and playful characters.

Prizes

A terrible catastrophe befalls the little mole one bright, sunny morning. It looks a little like a sausage, and the worst thing is that it lands right on his head. So our plucky little hero sets out to find out who has left their business on his head.

This is halarious, especially if you don't mind a touch of innocent toilet humour.

This is a story about the bodily function that all living animals partake, but no one really want to talk about. A mole goes in search of the culprit who landed one on his head, with different animals demonstrating why it definitely wasn't them.

I think the picture on the cover says it all.

5 of 5 Stars! – Customer review on 18/05/2011

This is a great little book (bought it for 3yo) that brings laughs for children and adults alike. It was recommended to me as a good buy. I have also purchased it for a 6 yo who at present thinks anything relating to toilet matters is very funny. It's about a little mole who finds someone's 'business' has landed on his head on his way out of his hole. He tries to find the owner by comparing it with other animals droppings which brings about some funny conversations.
