This is a great book that will captivate adults and children alike. You can easily spend hours looking at the pictures and finding little details that have appeared/disappeared. It's a great way of showing children how human beings have evolved over the millenia. Children will be fascinated to discover how our societies have organised themselves and how every aspect of their lives have gradually changed. A must read for every child who is interested in history (and those who aren't as well!).
