The CD-ROM also all ows students to test themselves on a number of topics and helps them make more informed orchestrational choices by working through several reorchestrations of well-known orchestral works by Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Mahler. The reorchestrational modules challenge students to apply their growing knowledge and individual taste to larger issues od orchestration. The CD-ROM also contains composer biographies that focus on their particular methods of orchestration and that draw examples from their important orchestral works.
