For beginning students, this book contains the sheet music to pieces eighteen through twenty-nine in Suzuki repertoire, a mixture of folk songs, and simple compositions - mostly by baroque composers, as well as some brief and simple exercises to further build on technical facility. At this stage of a student's playing, the book is primarily for the parent's reference. As the new Vol 2, this updated book contains more exercises to facilitate students' approach to new technique.
