good methods described. Helps parents understand what goes on in the classroom. Would improve by being mapped to the Australian Curriculum though. well worth buying as is commonly used by teachers in Victoria. :0)
This book is a really great way to introduce basic, simple maths concepts and ideas to young children. I would suggest that this book would be most useful for children aged from around five to seven years old. Mathematics is a necessity for the basics of children's life, and to build on in later primary school, so I would recommend this book as an ideal starting point.
