I love this 'that's not my...' series of books. This is the most recent one we got. Our favourites however are still that's not my teddy and that's not my dragon. They are more interesting and colourful than some others including this monkey one and have more things of interest on the pages eg stars or snowflakes on the front pages and extra colourful items on other pages. The monkey one is still good though and he likes playing with it but it is less colourful/busy, mainly because they have stuck to the normal colours that monkeys might be eg brown/grey/orange rather than other colours like purple or blue so that makes it realistic but a bit restrictive colour-wise I guess. Also there is not lots of other colourful detail on the pages. It has descriptions such as 'feet are too smooth', 'eyebrows are too hairy', 'ears are too soft', 'tail is too velvety', 'tummy is so furry'. Still a good book but not our favourite.
