Denver 2007: Caitlyn has just discovered her fiancé in bed, and not alone. What’s a girl to do? She puts on an antique pendant, of course, and poof, a 13th century Scottish warrior appears in her bedroom. He offers her the adventure of returning to his time, marrying him, and then coming back to the 21st century. Sounds good? Well it might have been had not Caitlyn become trapped in the 13th century, the wedding’s delayed, someone is trying to kill her, and she’s falling for the man she can only be married to for thirty days.
Not bad, not nearly as good as Karen Moning books, but with a sweetness to it that’s easy to read. Lots of Scottish dialect, so be warned.
