The smallest fish can tell the tallest tales..."Sorry I'm late, Miss. I set off really early but on the way to school I was captured by a squid. I wriggled and I struggled till a turtle came and rescued me." "Oh, no, he didn't." "Oh, Yes, He did." Tiddler is a little fish with a big imagination. What ever will he come up with next?

What can you say about Julia Donaldson? She is fantastic!! This book is no exception - there is a fabulous story, great rhyming, and fun illustrations. If you read one of Donaldson's stories, you will no doubt be converted. Its one thing to appeal to children with a good story, but its another to write a story that is so enjoyable for the adult reading it! I just don't have enough praise for her! Like her other wonderful stories, this one cleverly tells the tale of a fish who likes to exaggerate a little when he tells stories. When he ends up in trouble, he manages to find his way home by back-tracking the source of his stories! Love it!
