John Francis Torti, FAIA, President of Torti Gallas + Partners, is
the conceptual leader of his firm. He has lead his talented
partners and the firm to national recognition through their work in
creating inclusive places for people to live work and play. He was
previously affiliated with NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center
and the National Capital Planning Commission, where he worked on
numerous designs to rebuild Washington after the 1968 riots. Mr.
Torti has been on the teaching staff at the Catholic University of
America and has served as a Visiting Professor at Harvard
University, Ohio University and the University of Maryland. He
currently serves on the Board of the Congress of the New
Urbanism.
Thomas M. Gallas, CPA, CEO of Torti Gallas + Partners, has
extensive experience with residential communities coordinating a
broad cross-section of participants encompassing residents and
