I love this book. Yes you have to read a lot. But it helps remind you what you learnt at University etc, and also what you didn't absorb or got taught. The book reminds you of why we need to draw, draw, draw and paint, paint, paint. It gives plenty of examples and encourages us all to give our best, and to go outside our comfort zone and to learn to see and study anything to make our drawings and paintings stronger. For example not just faces, but landscapes, seascapes, still life etc
