This is a great little book that anyone can take along on their surf trip around Australia. It covers all areas in Australia all of the known breaks in a little page illustration of the coastline, what swell direction is best, what type of wave it is, directions to drive there, and a little description.

Its pocket sized so it won't take up much space in your luggage, and it would be great to pull out when you're in a certain area to get the low-down on all of the local breaks. This book could make the difference between heading out at somewhere where the conditions are all wrong and the waves are rubbish, to knowing that a couple of kms away there will be a spot handling the conditions much better with much more quality.
