Used this book recently for the chapter on the Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Comprehensive guide with each day mapped out in distance, map and descriptions of villages along the way. Provides estimates of time and kms. for each leg of the journey. Includes small detail of some albergues and places to eat as well as historical notes of places passed along the way. Also has a list of albergues and their various facilities and costs. Found it helpful to copy chapter to travel with and tear of each page as I was finish with it to keep the backpack light. Could be sufficient alone as a guide for this walk. Other walks included in book and make walking Spain very inviting.
