Do you have a list of things to do before you die? if not - you should!
Read this book and be inspired to travel to each and every place, New Zealand, USA, UK, Europe and many more!
Be warned, after reading this book you will gain very itchy feet, so get saving, hop on a plane and go on your dream holiday! It is a great book to own especially if you are planning your O.E.

This is a good book to fill those ten minute gaps in your day. Open at any page, read about just one of the places, and be inspired. And improve your geography at the same time! I do agree with feedback that pictures would be of a credit. Always a great thrill to tick off the destinations as you slowly work your way through them...

I love this book! It contains a selection of places all over the world that stand out for a special reason. It even contains important info such as entry fees and web addresses - great for people who are actually thinking of visiting some of the places! A lot of particularly noteworthy hotels are included also. If you've travelled, it's fun to look through and see how many of the 1000 places you have seen so far... and, of course, daydream about seeing the rest!

This is a really detailed book about places that you should see in your lifetime. While I disagree with some of the things mentioned, many of them are good guides as to what to and not to see while in a country, so that you can easily plan your holiday around this book. Unfortunately contains no coloured pics, which would have made this book better.

I was disappointed with this book because it should be a coffee table book with pictures. Reading about the places is fantastic, and it is a well written book, with heaps of info, but it needs to be expanded to coffee table size so that the places mentioned can have pics beside them to further call you to travel.

this is a really great, unique book to read. it tells of 1000 places that you should really see, and includes a brief description of the place along with details on how to get there. this is quite handy because the book is split up in to countries, so you only have to flick to a country to find out what you should do there! great stuff!

despite the semi morbid title, this is actually a very good book! we gave it to my dad for christmas last year, and he really seemed to like it, and when we went away to europe, we went to some spots that were mentioned in this book, which ordinarily we probably would not have gone to. great reading, i quite enjoy it too!
