5 of 5 Stars! – Customer review on 13/05/2008

An amazing account of aspects of the Vietnam Conflict from the American's silly reliance on body count, poor training of its soldiers, and arrogant placement of its bases ... yet dogged courage of the fighting men on both sides and sear ingenuity of the Vietnamese "Peasant" Soldier.

The Vietnamese always knew that time was on their side.

Well worth a read ... if you can get past the early academic feel of the initial chapters, this book should me new aspects that I have not previous come across.
