About the AuthorDr Michael Oehley is truly international; born in South Africa, schooled and trained in New Zealand, and currently working as an emergency doctor in Australia, though he still regards Hamilton, New Zealand, as home. He first invented the world of Osheanus as a child of 7, and later wrote 13 drafts of the story over 6 years while at medical school, finally completing it in his first year as a junior doctor at Waikato Hospital.
