About the Author

My son loves this book, it is so colourful and he is learning so much from it. The repetitive prose is very catchy and the beautiful illustrations are very appealing to young eyes - my son has learnt many animal names, words and concepts from this book and the additional media is a fantastic accompaniment. I would highly recommend this for any children's collection and I look forward to purchasing and enjoying others in this genre.

Great book and Great CD! I originally heard this at day care and the kids loved it. Please note the version I heard at day care was different to the CD that came with the book. The CD with the book is a mans voice and the version I heard at the kids day care was a womans voice with other children.

I teach in kindergarten/early childhood sector. I use this book/CD frequently in group times - it is great for fostering pre-reading skills. Children join in with the singing and the animal noises with great enthusiasm. It is often requested.
