I really like all the helpful hints this book contains - from storing clothes to what kind of jewellery to wear. The only thing missing for me was that I would have liked to have more information on body shapes and the types of clothes that suit those body shapes. with so many different aspects covered, that was the one thing that i wanted more on. Oh well, I guess it means I will have to keep searching for that book!

I have read the previous book review on this book and that was why I bought this book. However, I found that they tried to cover every aspect and as a result, only superficially discussed all topics. Also, I found that only the first half of the book was really useful but the latter half was a little less helpful. May be good to read in the library in a lazy afternoon but not to the degree of 'definitely have to own this book'!

This book is filled with many, many great tips that change ones life. Whether you are seeking a new job or wishing to improve your own self-esteem, try reading this book and take advantage of as many tips as possible. There is no doubt in my mind, not even one small of iota of doubt, that if you really take this book to heart and make the changes they suggest-you're certain to make super changes in your life. So many of these changes can be done with absolutely no cost to you. Don't worry about having to buy an entire new wardrobe. The book will tell you how to utilize the clothing that you already have to wear.
You'll even read about what to wear and what not to wear at different events. Want to feel comfortable on a special date? A few easy changes might make all the difference in the world!
Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are fashion journalists and hosts of the BBC America television series, What Not to Wear.
From underwear to every possible accessory you could ever imagine, "What You Wear Can Change Your Life" will direct you in a positive, concise and almost confident and humerous manner. Good luck to you and I hope this book brings you as much great advice as it did for both myself and my beautiful Sister.

Fantastic book.I loved the TV series because of the brutally honest way the girls addressed many people's fashion mishaps and no-no's. The book is written up the same way. It's got great tips and hints to help you make wiser decisions when shopping. It even suggests clothes swapping with friends! There's a section that covers everything, from make-up, to underwear, how to pose while on holiday, and even eye-brow shaping! A+++

I'm so impressed with this book, it covers everything from complementry colours, discovering your bodys plus and minuses, wardrobe culling and even good storage. Although the section on makeup recommends alot of uk available only products, it still gives good tips for application for every age group. To book is presented in an easy reference format, with sparse text and lots of pictures.

Ever gone into a shop, collected an armful of garments that you liked the look of only to discover that ... they don't suit you at all and what's more, you don't really know why. Regardless of what you think of the TV programme, this really is a useful book - not about fashion but about how to find the shapes and colours that suit you and how to dress to your best advantage based on your shape. It does not advocate any particular fashion trends but concentrates mostly on body shape and skin colour and the confidence that comes from being in clothes that you feel great in. Some clothing recommendations are only really available in the UK but otherwise you will find plenty in there that you could find in any clothing shops. The last part of the book tries to add a bit too much in without going in detail but the main meat of the book is excellent - even if you don't agree with it!

This book is very interesting to read. It really makes you realise how important it is how you make yourself look like, because that is the most important way of leaving a good impression behind on people, and your clothing is a big part of the way you make yourself look like, so this book is very good to read.
