This is a fantastic book for anyone looking for short cute poems for children. As a drama teacher, I often used this book for small, in-class exercise. Shel Silverstein's imagination & style are always enjoyed by people of all ages but I always found the ease with which he related to children a thing of wonder. I truly believe this is a large part of the reason he has been so popular for so long. The simplicity of his artwork compliments his words perfectly. This is a worth addition to any good book collection.
