Warning! For the mature mind. Buck gives it to you in a laid back sophisticated kind of way. Once I started to read, the character's in each story kept me holding on right to the end. Time, and time again I felt myself being right in the room, but glad in reality I was in the comfort of my own home. This book is a true test for the imagination. If you like to read, this is a must read. If you're pass the age of reasoning and grew up in the southern region of the United States (or the Carribean Islands), you should recognize at least one character (maybe two) from this book. It is a great read that causes the mind to wander. I felt a sense of sadness exuding from the core of Buck's soul. Each poem/story left me wanting more. Great job, Buck Godfrey. This body of work was awesome! Each piece was different from the next. It was a true page turner. The characters were so well developed, I felt like I knew them. I enjoyed every word; from the beautiful poetry to the frightening stories. C. Robbins Awesome, I love the way the poems tapped into my imagination. Each story was unique onto itself and held me to the very end.If you like something that has a darker feel with a bit of vampires, Witch, demons and much more then this is the book for you. I would say a must read!
