This is a brilliant child's book with lots of repetition and chances to point out what different sheep are doing. Highly recommended as one of your child's first books!

I bought this book for my then 8-month old, and it has become a firm favourite. It is part of his bedtime ritual now, and any chance he gets he will flick through it by himself or enjoy having it read to him.
Delightful illustrations and simple, rhythmic words. This book is a true delight. Printed on good heavy board so I am happy to let my son play with it as I know he won't rip the pages. I recommend this to anyone with a baby, and imagine this will continue to be popular for several years to come.

Great book for the small fry. My grandson of 6 months loves it. Nice and bright, plus hard cover means no torn pages

This is a fantastic book with lots of great language. My 10month old loves the detail in the pictures & I can see how we'll continue to love the story as she gets older. There are many neat comparisons (near/far, scared/brave). I like the anticipation at the end of the book.... Where IS the green sheep?

With bright and simple illustrations, little ones love to join in the search for the mysterious green sheep over and over again. Mem Fox is at her best with rhythmic rhyme and gentle humour. Recommended as a bedtime story, afternoon story, morning story and just about anytime story for babies right up to three and four years.
