I bought the book because I liked the humour in a write up. I also loved the idea that someone had gone to so much trouble to get overall facts give state them in such a positive way. I am retired (so older rather than younger)and love research. I found it confirmed for me much of what I already knew - so I asked my young daughter-in-law if she would like a copy (I typed up the introduction so she would know what it was about - which also helped keep up my typing skills). She said she was interested so I purchased another copy through Fishpond for her. I still really like the humour and the positive information. I tend to read whatever chapter interests me at the time. I thoroughly recommend it to all women who need to know early in life the things that have taken me 5+ decades to learn.
As a man and yes I am am man and not in fact a women, I still found this book to be fairly interesting and entertaining and an overall okay read. It isn't the best book but I reccomend it anyone out for a lite read even the men out there it's not so bad, really.
